Well, Coach, the honeymoon did not last long. You have two of your star players in a very public war of words. Stank-0 refuses to link their exchange because it doesn't help the situation. If you want to find it go to washingtonpost.com and look around. It will probably be "front page" tomorrow morning and all over the blogosphere before 10:30AM.
What it does show is that the culture in Redskins Park needs some tweaking. Anytime players think one player can go to the owner or upper management you have a problem, Coach.
You will need a 3-5 year plan. You need to make it very plain that no one is above the law...by that Stank-0 means you and the upper management. If they have something to say, tell them to talk to the team captains and have the team captains bring it up the chain. Establish protocol and the chain of command.
Probably want to impose a media blackout for a little bit. Bring in your verbiose players and lay into them. Not to prove a point but for airing dirty laundry in a town that love having business put on blast. Remember Congress is in this town and they leak more than a new born baby.
You also will have to navigate the waters around the GM Allen and the owner Daniel Snyder. In case you haven't heard, Snyder can be quite a handful.
Then you have the fanbase. Super Bowl...hell playoff starved. Some will have some supremely unrealistic expectations off the bounce. Hope you are gettin well compensated for this.
