Stank-0 just saw that three head coaches were pinkslipped today. This is the latest in the Dismissed series. The three coaches let go are: Eric Mangini, Romeo Crennel, and Rod Marinelli. The only firing that truly surprises Stank-0 is Mangini. The J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS were a game away from the playoffs with a 38 year old quarterback in a tough division.
Romey Rome was the subject of an earlier post. The Browns did so poorly that someone had to be the fall guy and he was the one to be sacrificed on the chopping block. The good thing about all of this is that there was been a housecleaning. Quick and dirty.
Marinelli's firing was predetermined after the Lions hit 0-10. The GM was fired much earlier in the season so...it only makes sense to clean house wholesale. The Lions also swept away all the upper management from this God awful season.
Bill Cowher's phone will be ringin non-stop now. He sat out a season, made analyst dollars, and can now pull a Parcells and get total control of a franchise in disarray. Stank-0 will continue this thought in a later post.

UPDATE!: Romey Rome please exit with some of your dignity intact. Please! Crennel is sayin he would continue on with the Browns in some other capacity if the new head coach wanted him to stay. You must be 4 kinds of crazy to think the new head coach wants your 24-40 experience around his new regime. This is just pathetic.
