Stank-0 said in an email thread that the AFC South was the toughest conference in football.

Aug 13th: What will be the toughest division this year?

Stank-0 is thinkin either the AFC North or South and maaaaybe the NFC East.

So you see Stank-0 is on occasion wrong and spectacularly so.  The GMen and Cowboys are 2-0, while the Iggles are no slouch at 1-1.  Heck even the Redskins have clawed back to 1-1. 

While in the AFC South, the Jags are 0-2, Colts are 1-1, the Texans are 0-1, and the Titans are sitting at 2-0.  The AFC North?  Steelers 2-0, Ravens 1-0, the highly hyped Browns are 0-2 along with the Bungels. 

So at this point in the season, the NFC East is lookin to be the toughest division in football again.  At this point, can the rest of the season even top week 2?

The G-Men reportedly couldn't entice Strahan to un-retire a la Brett Favre. Strahan did the sensible thing and decided to walk away a champ.

Stank-0 really can't blame him.

This is the extent of Strahan's dilemma:

"I have gone back and forth on this because as a player you'll always want to play, you'll never lose that urge to be out there. But I could only do this if I could commit 100 percent, physically, mentally, emotionally and I can't do that. I've tried to convince myself and my body to give it one more year, but in the end I just don't think I could turn it on like I need to again."

Strahan is a warrior, no doubt, but sometimes your body sends you clear signals. Strahan enjoy your retirement.

Update: Strahan looked good on Fox NFL Sunday, joinin the team of Terry, Howie, Jimmy, and the other black guy. Strahan, hook Stank-0 up with your tailor, son. Your suit was lookin crispy.

The GMen opened their defense of their improbable Super Bowl title, by outlasting the Washington Redskins.

Having watched a large part of the game (yeah for Mountain Time!), the GMen were stumbling over their own feet and Eli didn't look 2008 playoff sharp either.

What are the GMen's chances of repeating, don't even factor in Strahan's retirement or Osi goin down for an extended stretch. They didn't seem to be playing inspired ball, maybe it was because the Redskins weren't puttin up much of a fight.

Poor poor poor Landry, he got absolutely trucked. Stank-0 figured Landry would know after Woodson got the same treatment in the playoffs, last year. It's not a pretty sight for the Redskin faithful.
