Supposedly the word on the street is that T.O. is miffed about the relationship between Romo and Witten. Stank-0 calls BS. T.O.'s beef is with Garrett rather than Romo, however, a tight end is a quarterback's security blanket. The off coordinator is the one calling the plays. On a blitz, the quarterback may have 2 seconds to get rid of the rock, so a tight end would be the best insurance.
Ultimately, the defense dictates where the ball goes. Unfortunately, T.O. doesn't seem to understand what's goin on. The Cowboys may lose out on the playoffs behind this non-sense.
